For packs like that, that aren't alp (ableton live pack format) create a folder for your samples, that you'll use for all your samples upcoming, then use this guide to add that folder to Ableton.
Can anyone point me to to a tutorial, book, video clip that will give me some information on how to make effective use of the Ableton Packs I have in my Live version of Suite please. I have been able to make use of some of the devices and clips but I have not been able to find any substantial reference to the Packs, other than to install them.For example, when I open the Guitar and Bass Pack I can see that there are Clips, Samples, Construction Kits and Sounds.
Clips contains Ableton's .alc clips which have a data and a device labeled with a key. How do I make use of the the key when I use that clip?
Construction Kits. These contain Ableton Live sets and I have access to the tracks. I can bring these tracks on to my existing set, but how to make the good intended use of these?
