Setup problems no sound Hello folks! I'm trying to set up Ableton for bass recording. I just bought the Focusrite Solo and installed Ableton Live 9 Lite that came with it. My first problem was that the default sound driver option MME/DirectX has horrible latency and the Focusrite USB ASIO only shows signal in but never out. You will notice when it's working too hard because there will be problems with the audio, such as crackling, stretching and even dropouts. The stream will be a live finger drumming set using Ableton Live 9. I'd like to use the Focusrite USB ASIO drivers because they give me a very low latency, which is important for performing live. However, I'm struggling to get Ableton's ASIO output into OBS.

So in the preferences when I switch the driver over to ASIO there are two audio device options: ASIO for generic USB Device (which fails to open) and Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver. I can only open up the latter but there are no input/output options for me to choose from. I went to my computer's audio preferences to switch it over to the focusrite but it doesn't even recognize it. I have not yet downloaded any software or registered the 2i2 yet, so that may be the problem, but I'm not sure because from Ableton's tutorial I have the right drivers. Maybe they need updating. ANy suggestions would be great, I'm going to continue to download and register the 2i2 and see if that fixes anything. ANn also, when I switch the driver to the generic low latency, the youtube tutorials I was trying to watch would not load. Might that be because the audio card can't be accessed by two different sources? Thank you!
